Anna Swanson is an Austin based painter, print maker, art teacher, and children’s yoga teacher.  Anna holds a BFA in Studio Art and Textiles.

Anna began drawing and painting at a very young age. She began her art career learning to illustrate designs for screen prints on Tee Shirts and Home Decor. She loves handmade art, pattern, Nature, and interior design. Local galleries, boutiques, blogs, and Minted.com have featured her work. Her latest project is a collaboration on prints and designs for a Dallas, TX based company, Fleastyle.

 She has exhibited her work in various art shows and craft fairs locally and in Nashville, TN. She has been a presenter at Pinterest, teaching abstract art and lettering in Dallas, TX. She has accomplished painting and design commissions in multiple mediums including acrylic painting, watercolor, lettering, and mixed media collage. Anna just recently created her business, Le Petite Artist to incorporate her passion for teaching art.  She also teaches art classes to teen girls at Gardner Betts Juvenile Detention Center through her other art program Project Bridge.

 Her work is described as bright, colorful, playful, and modern. She loves working on new projects and is part of the Austin art community. She has donated her artwork to fundraisers, Rodeo Austin, and AIDS Services Austin. She continues to pursue her career by teaching and taking continuing education classes at local colleges and art centers.

Anna works from home alongside her 8 year old rescue puggle and pet hedgehog, Penelope.
